Please post your "Hair-Keepers" Formula here!!!!

When I lurked around the boards a couple yrs ago, I remember some great "Hair-Keepers" formulas that were posted.....something akin to the gainskeepers formula..I am very interested in finding some of those posts..unfortunately Im not Platinum yet and cannot search for those...if anyone can find them or recommend some totally new protocol..especially protocol that has been personally tested...I'de really appreciate it! What to use when cycling different compounds would be great...including some good OTC stuff as well as Rx....I've used Rx Nizoral in the past, seemed to MAYBE help a little, but dried my hair up like straw...I used 5% Minoxidil only once a day versus the recommend twice and it worked great for the first 1.5-2 months...then after that, it literally ate my scalp up..I mean TERRIBLE itching and burning....I cant go near it now..I must've become hypersensitive to it..any and all suggestions and recommendations on any of the above would be very helpful...if there is some good experienced-backed or scientifically supported responses, it may even be worth making a sticky for awhile....thanks fellas...

Bro.. search for my threads... Shit load of advice I give over and over regarding hair keeping.. Been keeping my hair for years even with shit load of androgens

Interesting study on hairloss/prevention. Note the offensive odor warning.

Heres the copy and paste...

Older men who have not lost hair from the front sides of their heads probably do not have much testosterone.

A derivative of the male hormone, testosterone, called dihydrotestosterone, causes male pattern baldness. With aging, hair on the front sides and top of the head become thinner, lighter and shorter so that you have difficulty seeing it. A 2% solution of monoxidil, called Rogaine, increases the blood supply to these hairs and helps to slow their loss, although it really does not effectively help to grow new hair. Another drug, called spironolactone, can block the male hormones that cause hair loss, but when taken by mouth, it can cause loss of sexual drive and impotence. However when it is applied to the scalp as a 2% solution in alcohol, it also can slow hair loss. When Rogaine solution is applied to the scalp at the same time as spironolactone, it emits a highly offensive odor, so they cannot be applies together. On the other hand, Rogaine can be applied in the morning and a 2% solution of spironolactone can be applied at night without causing the odor. The Food and drug Administration has not approved spironolactone solution for treatment for hair loss.

Many doctors have lost their initial enthusiasm for Proscar, the drug used to treat enlarged prostates. Men and women have two masculinizing hormones: testosterone and dihydrotestosterone. Testosterone is necessary for sexual desire and the ability to achieve an erection and it does not cause hair loss. However, in the cells, testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone which does cause hair loss. Proscar blocks the formation of dihydrotestosterone, but it has not been shown to prevent male pattern baldness effectively in humans.

I'll def give it a try bro....unfortunately.not being platinum severely limits my search abilities....thanks though!!

I hadn't lost much hair, but I've been happy using polysorbate80 and generic minox over the last 10 months or so. My hair is thicker now than it was 6 months ago. I think the best thing I did was to start really working the polysorb in at the desired areas and letting it sit. Don't know how much science is behind this, but i'm happy with it.
