We plan to give other members the chance to help moderate in the near future and there may be a few more retirements in the future as well, but right now, let's keep this thread a show of appreciation for the dedication that these Mods have shown this site. We would not be where we are today without their efforts.

I didn't even read through this thread. I just posted after reading this one.

I was upfront with George and my fellow mods about my personal business weeks ago. I actually volunteered several weeks ago to RELINQUISH MY STATUS.

I am moving to France in about six weeks. I am currently busting my ass to make this a smooth transition for my children and trying to build a future for us. I have NO IDEA when I will be able to even be online after I move. How ON EARTH could I possibly have time to help George with the site or any of the members with requests for information? I barely even post up.

Honestly, some of you need to get a clue and stop stirring shit where none exists.

(And if you don't fit into this category, there is no need to even try the shoe on, let alone bitch about being asked to wear it.)

Anyways, I am not the least bit concerned about anyone hating me or my children. I have a smile that could melt an iceberg and my children are truly amazing human beings. Besides, they will not be coming with me initially. They will stay with their father. After I am settled in if they would like to live with me then I will be ready. And if they choose not to, then that is a sacrifice that I make gladly to insure their happiness and peace of mind.

Bikinimom was not banned and was not removed. She had personal reasons and did not think she could do her job in the same manner as before.

Well , since I joined this board two years ago , BikiniMom has been an integral part of this board and I've enjoyed her company immensely. Be very sad to see her leave but I think that she will have equal access in Europe wherever she is. Must be a special time for you BKM and I wish you and the kids all the best , what is the story with the ex?
Am also sad to see that Warik and Havoc will no longer be mods as I felt they both were very professional in their approcahes,something which these boards lack at times.
TexasGuns has been silent for too long here which is a shame as I miss her too.

Can't talk about the ex because we are finally working together to make things easier for the kids. It only took us a little over 2 years and a move overseas, but we are doing it nonetheless. So I guess there is a silver lining to every cloud.

It will be an interesting event... Like I said before, France won't know what hit her! I must learn the phrase, "Darlin', don't you think you'd be a might more cheery if you had that pole surgically removed from your arse?" in French. Somehow I get the feeling that I will be using it quite often!
