Does anyone use the platinum chat? Every time I log on it is empty.

I just tried logging in and it comes up with the following error message:

VolanoChat Server
Unable to Connect
Problem
The VolanoChat applet failed to connect to the VolanoChat server either because the server has reach its capacity or because the server is temporarily down.

Oh well

not to offend the owners, but its a pain in the ass piece of software that takes ages to load (if it loads at all) and flakes in and out, in my experience

Yeah, thats weak, my other board is dinky compared to EF and they ask for donations to cover the 100$ cost of the server they used and they have an mIRC that everyone uses and its cool, lots of people on there and the conversations just flow. I dont see why they couldnt set up something similar here with an mIRC link with such a miniscule cost to EF.

I will look into it. I just logged into Plat Chat just fine. Any other suggestions on making it better would be appreciated.

I went there 2-3 times.
There would be 2-3 people there, and no one responds when you try to talk to them.
I never understood why.
I don't go there anymore.
