Plasma Expanders and Pro BB's

What are plasma expanders and do you really think pros use them prior to competition??? Read about it in a Muscular Development mag where a pro was denying its usage. Are they really that effective??? Just curious to know. Thanx!!

They were used during the mid to late '90's. They can be very dangerous because your blood pressure can get too high as opposed to most diuretics where it can get too low. Plasma expanders are not diuretics. They pull interstitial fluid into the viens making blood volume increase and the viens pop out, while at the same time making the skin very thin due to a lack of water.

The extent some BB's go through to win a few grand is somewhat confusing.....then again, not surprising!!

I suggest you stay away from PE, it's not smart to dabble with it if you're an amateur.

Not interested at all in them...just wondering what the heck they were. Nonetheless, i dont touch gear, nevermind using a plasma expander.
