Planning on dorming this spring

I've decided to try and get a dorm at school for the spring. The residence life office opens back up Jan. 2 and I hope I can get in before school starts up at the 19th. I know this is cutting it close, but if I get it my life will be so much easier. Wish me luck.

my sister just told me I might not get a room because there might be a waiting list. If this is the case I'll be very upset for the entire semester.

With my luck this will work against me anyways, it always does:(

I can't wait to go to college, away from home!

I hear that, but I probably wont be able to afford to go away so I will be living with my damn parents and going to community college:rolleyes: Im not impressed

I went to a community college my first two years, it's cheaper and I got my grades up before going to a university. I've been living at home, but I have a large room and my parents arn't on my ass all the time, I come and go as I please and they don't hold me to there rules of the house so to speak. I'm 22 so it's nothing to be proud.

Dorming at school will just make my commute from school/work/home much easier it will just be to work then back to campus. Otherwise i'd stay home and out of alittle box room they call dorms.

If you are attached, then the dorm is good just for the convenience.

BUT, if you are single, then living in a dorm could possibly be a non-stop orgy...seriously.

My girl doesn't goto the same school as I do. I would just like to stay there for the convenience of less of a traffic commute back and forth two three places. i'll be cutting it down to two basically. I just need the satisfaction of getting out of bed and running over to class, instead of sitting in 1.5 hours of traffic.

The orgy's sound appealing but I'm taken and that stuff doesn't fly in our relationship:D

When I was going to a major university, I lived in a co-ed dorm. I didn't get a damn thing accomplished. Too many good looking women and that's all I could think about.

I'm hoping that my beleif that If you can pay for a dorm, they will find a place for you is right. I've got my hopes up on getting it and if it doesn't fall through I'll be a disgrunteled Flex123...

I guess thats what its called,we have college and university

I plan to get my police foundations in college then goto university for criminology

that way I can be a uniform officer then when I am to old for that be a investigator

Hopefully I can go back to school next fall or I'll have to wait for the fall afte that inorder to get into the Army college program that I'm wanting

No more dorms for me...Was a Resident Assitant for 2 semesters befor I left my 1st college...not a bad setup for a 2nd semester Fr :) being a college athlete paid off once since I met some nice people and threw some good parties and didn't get caught since alcohol wasn't cool for underage kiddies there nor for women to be in past the curfew they had

Nope for me it's back to a small apt so I have no one but myself to bug

Get your 60 hrs at a community college and then transfer. Freshman/soph failout classes are tons easier. You can save money and spend it on gear/protein and a nice ride instead of giving it to the school for a shitty place to live and all carb diet with a max 3 meals a day if you even make it. There is nowhere to cook in a dorm room.

This is the reason I never wanted to dorm before, but now it seems that this option suits my situation much better now.
