It's NOT a remake. The characters are new and so is the story (so says Tim Burton in an interview on tv).

I'm looking forward to it.

they havent actually finished putting it together so technically its still a work in progress.

apparently there was a fuck scene with mark wahlberg and an ape (helena bonham carter)....but the producers though everyone would strts tagging animals as a result so instead theres just a kiss....monkeys know how to use bannanas u know ....

is the leader of the monkey army.

In an interview Mark Walberg said they tried to get him to run around
in one of those little wrap around sarongs.
He refused. I guess he had enough from modeling underwear.
