Pizza

I read on this board ages ago that Pizza is one of the most anabolic foods around? is this true and if so can anyone explain why? i know this should be on the diet board but its dead there
 
Pizza - I can't live without it! I always make sure I get extra chicken, ham and always hold the pepperoni and sausage! And I never eat the end crust either - figure I save some carbs and fat that way at least.
 
I like eating lots of pizza when I'm on a bulking cycle. When I don't really care about staying lean, but instead want all the protein and calories I can take in. (it's hard eating 6000 calories a day)


I can't really explain why someone would say that It is them most anabolic food around. However, if you get it loaded with meats (like I do), then you get lots of protein from them, as well as the cheese. You will also get 'some' protein from the bread crust, but not much.

I personally like anchovies too;)

But don't forget that pizza has lots of fat and sodium, so it's not the most health food out there.

you know, the stuffed crust, double-fried, triple sausage kind.

if you eat a large one of those every three to four hours, you will probably end up looking like Ronnie Coleman within a week or two.

You left out an important factor, include masturbation 3 times a day.
