personally, I prefer 22 guage 1.5". You don't have to push as hard to get product into muscle because of the bigger diameter. But, it is still small enough so you don't need a hammer to pound it into the muscle.

I don't find it much of a problem if you warm the oil up first. Heh, with a 1.5" I'd be worried about hitting a bone in my thighs, and I wouldn't even dare put one in my delts.

You are right, warming the oil will help. Your legs should have plenty of muscle on them not to hit a bone with 1.5" needle. If you do hit bone, it's time to think about incorporating some leg work into your weekly routine...LOL!

My legs are my most muscular bodypart. There's barely a guy in the gym that has larger legs than me. Normal jeans don't even fit me anymore...

I still don't wanna put a 1.5" into them. Have you ever put a 1.5" into your quads?

Never hit one. Sometimes it pinches a bit, but it's less painful than doing glutes, 'cause I have shaky hands and moving the needle around isn't a lot of fun.

Yes, every time I inject them. I just go for the outer-most meaty part of the quad. Flex your leg, then aim for the outside part with the striations in it. This works for me. I am not trying to argue with you here - a one inch pin will work fine also. I just prefer 1.5".

Outch... you flex when you inject? That just makes it more painful. Why go all the way when 2/3 is just fine? Anyway, long needles are scary :worried:

No, I don't while injecting. I do this right before, then relax, then hit that spot - while relaxing. Either way, as long as you are getting the product from point A to point B - that is the main idea. Grow well.
 
I hit 1.5" in my glutes and I hit 1.5" in my quad the last time I did it. A bitch more pinch in the quad. I don't feel ANYTHING in the glutes.

Well, I always knew bigger was better, but I didn't know it applies to this situation as well. :p
 
25g is tiny and can take a long time to inject. I use 23g x 1.5" on my quads or glutes....and 5/8 on my delts. If you have a drawing pin then it's fine, but if you are going to try and draw with a 25 good luck to you.
