Been using 23 gauge 1.0 inch needles for my glute shots and just curious if I'm getting into the muscle or not.

Regardless of hittin a vain, if you're not in the muscle and you asperate, will blood show?

i go with a 1.5inch. then again, i have been told i have a big ass

Yeah, to be sure you can go with a 1.5 inch. You also could go with 25 gauge if your doing ED or EOD injects.

All I want to know is if I'm getting into the muscle. I get no blood when I asperate.

If you get no blood when you aspirate it just means you're not in a blood vessel. It tells you nothing about if you are in the muscle, although you most likely are unless you have a really fat ass. I'd go with the 1.5" anyway.

How fat are you? If you are pretty lean you're OK
