Pin Issue

Ok first off I been noticing a bit more blood coming from my delts when pinning recently. Gluteus are fine but the delts have bled quite a bit. Usually takes 3 swabs to stop it. Using 22g 1'1/2" pins, leaving approx 1/2" out. Pinned test e and EQ, 1ml.

Also after pinning today my right delt has been twitching all day and so far into the evening, any ideas what the cause of these two things could be?
I'm not too worried just wanna know if anyone has experienced this at all.

You may have just hit a nerve or was real close to one and thats making it twitch.
The bleeding could be from that huge harpoon of a needle your using.I use 25 but everyone has their preference.1 inch length is fine for your shoulders though.Maybe try that.

Use 25x1 for delts.

I use 22g for delts also bro. Always have to wipe a few times before it stops bleeding. Nothing to worry about man. Also ibuprofen or anything with aspirin in it can make you bleed more. I'm agreeing with the above posts about coming close to a nerve with the twitching.

hey guys i pinned my first time on monday, went all the way in on my quad with a 1 1/4" 23g, next time should i not go all the way? the injection was very very clean, not a drop of blood and was absolutely painless. hurt like hell that night but yesterday i managed to do leg day and today it hurts but i can flex it etc no problem. damn virgin muscles....
also should i pin my glute on the same side or pin my other quad?

Thanks for all the replies fellas. Was using 23g 1" but ran out. Mainly use the harpoons for my glutes. Thanks for all the advice

Don't you wish you lived in Aus? I just go to an exchange and the lady gave me a whole box of swabs, over 50 3ml chambers, and entire boxes of 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 and 27 gauge needles. Oh and a mini sharps container. Dont other countries do this I've never thought about it?
Sure makes keeping things sterile very easy
