I don't board to impress anyone, especially with what I wear. I bought my snowboarding clothes 5 years ago for $150. I see all kinds of people thinking that the mountain is a fashion show, I call those people "gear whores."

I've got great equipment. Forum 160cm Destroyer. Thirty-Two Team2 boots. Drake F-70 bindings. Spider base layer gear.

I wear an O'neil jacket and pants and the helmet was a gift from a friend who didn't need it anymore (got a new one).

The powder doesn't care what the fuck I'm wearing bros.

When I go out, its to socialize and meet people, I want to make a good impression and present myself well. When I go snowboarding I'm there for myself, not to impress anyone.

i usually bring my own girls on the trips with me, but you do make a decent point. still, i don't try to hook up on the slopes, I wait until later, usually jacuzzi time or if not then, at the bar.

Mountain, I was at A basin and took a fall that slammed my head itno a patch of ice. I was wearing a helmet and I still was woozy and couldtn hardly walk. Thank god I was wearing a helmet, or I'd be as retarded as Lestat

I wear mine everytime ,mostly because we really only have hard pack and ice up here and 2 there is always some retard riding runs above their level out of control and when one of them ends up running into me i dont want to get hurt

ive only rode out of bounds once,hurt my knee and learned my lesson, but ive also wiped out on our hard pack and broke my fall with my head and i was pretty happy i had a helmet on
