photoshop text question

OK I pasted some text into photoshop, and I need to know how to format it. It's all off the screen and I have no clue how to make it all centered on screen. anyone know?

If I understand correctly, you copied some text from a document such as word and then pasted it into an image in photoshop? If it pasted as text, then you need to select the text tool and select the text to resize it.

Also, go to layers and make sure the layer that was created for the text you pasted in is active. Otherwise the nothing you do will affect the text.

That is true. It was difficult to edit text. In fact, you had to erase it and start over if it was not what you wanted.

No. You can do things like have it print in an arch or along a curve or justify it. Otherwise, you have to go and manually do it your self. This ain't a word processor it is a graphics/photgraphics package that is quite capable.

I suggest formatting your text in word, getting it the way you want and then pasting into ps7.0.

Ah guess what i figured it out...What you need to do is select the text tool, drag a space you want the text to fit in, then click inside it at paste it in. Woo!
