Most pharmacist don't realize the abuse potential of insulin therefore will not question why you are using it. The most common usage people buy Insulin for is there diabetic dogs. If they do ask use this for your reason.

I've bought humulin r twice OTC. I don't like it though, its too long lasting. Ordering humalog from a Canadian pharmacy is a much better choice.

From what i know is that usually they don't refuse to sell it without a script.

Most Canadian pharmacys ship uncontrolled substances (including humalog) to the USA, thats actually why most of them are in business. And most of them you do not require a prescription.
