personal experience with cytomel

I think personal experiences are so much more inportant than what the medical community tells us. I have found from personal experience that the medical community is so very hypocritical when it comes to bodybuilding drugs, but that is another story. Anyway my training partner was training for 3 shows last year, during this time he was on cytomel for a total of 6 months. The dosage ranged from a taper dose of 25-75mcg. He has since been off for about a month and a half. Last week as part of a routine checkup he had all of his thyroid function tests done. every test is within the normal limit. Just to show that it really doesnt suppress function for too long. Anyway I would still recommend caution to newbies when using this drug especially if you dont compete, but this info might be of use to you that do use or plan to use this medication.

We feel it's fine to stay on a test cycle for twelve weeks and are confident that our endougenous testosterone levels will be restored post cycle, but once we talk about T3 supresion it suddenly becomes a whole different endocrinology ballgame. Though the two hormones are regulated by different hormones the manner in which they are regulated is the same...feedback mechinisms via blood concentration "sensors". Why is it logical that test comes back post cycle, but if you stay on T3 for too long your body for some reason won't recognize the sudden drop in the hormone when you do come off and restore it's own production by TSH output? I'm not saying it's fine and proven safe to stay on T3 for long durations. I would just like more facts about this subject before we all rant about it's dangers and possible permanent endogenous shut off from over-use when most people here run AS cycle without fear that clomid will "fire the boys up" post cycle.

Beezers you a doctor by any chance? or medical student? your posts are always so informative i love reading them..

There are

other substances that cause thyroid levels to go up and down, test , growth hormone just to name 2.
You cannot replace a hormone without affecting the entire feedback loop of the endocrine system, it is just a matter of safety and how far you feel comfortable pushing the envelope.
