The shocking "value" of excessively overweight boys on the local "peewee" football team was brought to my attention when, ever searching for ways to create monster 8-year olds, little league football coaches began sending children and their parents to my office for a drug known as Periactin. This usually harmless antihystamine is used to help control itching in chicken pox or allergic skin rashes ---- I've considered it as an alternative to Benadryl, because it may not cause the undesirable side effect of drowsiness. However, another side effect usually known only to doctors, has been discovered by coaches. Periactin strongly stimulates the appetite and produces a weight gain through over eating. Some little league players were becoming "stars" after putting on an excess of 20-30 pounds
Im lookin for a place to get this stuff, I know someone who has it but his order limit is $200.00 and for that amount of money i can get 800 tabs and thats a little to much for me right now. I dont even know if the stuff works. But i have heard good things...
