pergolide vs dostinex for prolactin

How are the two drugs different besides half life?

which is better to use-
.5mg dostinex once a week for 8 weeks

or

.125mg up to .50mg pergolide everyday for 8 weeks?

PS, could you post an abridged profile for those two drugs b/c I am not familiar with them, and I don't know how many bros are. Maybe posting that could open up a discussion.

I used to take Pergolide and was switched to Cabergoline. I don't know if it's any better but pergolide can cause some people to have equilibrium ( Balance ) problems from taking it. I was one of them. I find cabergoline to be superior to pergolide . Dosinex I have'nt heard of .

dostinex is cabergolide.

here is the info i know.
bromocriptine is a d2 receptor agonist and has serious side effects.
pergolide is a d1 and d2 receptor agonist and its sides arent as bad as bromocriptine but still not very good.
dostinex i am not sure of but i know its damn expensive and people say its good.

the info i am looking for is how dostinex works and if .5mg a week is signigicantly better than 2.5mg bromo a day.
