People's attitudes.

what type of person are you?

I'm not someone who is extremely outgoing towards people I barely know. I commute to school so I don't know to many people on campus. I talk to people I meet in class but I usually don't make friends with people easily. I'll just say hi and have small conversations with people. During my entire time at my college I've only made an outside friendship with one person.

Maybe it's cause of myself and I never offer my number to people or ask people if they ever do stuff on weekends and such?

I might not be extremely outgoing but I wouldn't consider myself shy. It's just maybe I don't read people that well and don't know how to make good conversation.

One thing I notice is that when i'm in a good mood I'll usually just smile at random people who walk past me and say "hi". I usually do this in the halls of my office. Usually I just feel better about myself when I smile and act friendly towards people.

I guess I'm just doing a self-analysis on myself and seeing why I don't establish friendship relationships, and if it's because it's me or if it's just cause I commute to school so I'm not in an environment to make friends easily.

How's everyone else here?

Since being friendly towards people makes you feel better about yourself, why not do it all the time? as a commuter, you prob. come across as someone who is just there to go to class as opposed to socializing. People pick up on stuff like that. If you have a "don't approach me" air about you , people generally won't.

Hey I didn't even think of that!!! That is exactly how I've made friends in the past. It will only work if you are a dope smoker though. I always just hooked up with them so we were bound to have a lot in common. They are generally cool ,fun and laid back people.:fro:

I'm a living rubix cube, and some replaced various stickers while I was jumbled.

There are so many things that I am, and so many that I am not.

I choose my friends in an extremely selective and careful fashion. The best of the best, in terms of character. The rest can have each other, since there are so very many of them.

Right now, I have three true friends. A cousin in Europe, my former training partner, and my current girlfriend. I consider myself blessed to have so many TRUE friends.

Help me hide a body friends.

I guess you might be right. I guess when I think about it I'm usually quiet at school and sorta keep to myself.

Even when I see people I talk to in class eatting in the cafeiteria I usually don't even stop and try to start a conversation. I guess what had me acting like this was the fact that I was comfortable with the situation I had already. I always said to my girlfriend that I didn't need anymore friends and stuff like that. But I really do want to be more social outside my circle of friends that I grew up with.

For next semester I need to always remind myself to be more social and stop thinking that if people wanna talk to me they will just approach me.

No people will not just approach you if they want to talk to you. you have to put forth some effort too. Just start off by talking in class then maybe arrange to study for a test with a class mate. Thats a great way to get to know people, study groups. you usually end up doing a lot of non-study related talking. Some of my best friendships started off that way.

Opposite sex I would be down for the studying thing, same sex I wouldn't really feel comfortable with. I could ask girls to do go out and do just about anything. From going to the movies, dinner, a club.

Guys I wouldn't know really how to hang out. If I played sports like basketball or something I could always invite someone from school to play, but I don't really do much.

When I go out, I'ma go out shootin'

I don't mean when I die, I mean when I go out to the club, stupid

I can be very outgoing at times. I have a problem trusting people. So I'm very guarded.

I'm the happy-go-lucky guy who always finds the silver lining behind every dark cloud.

I was just quoting Eminem. In real life I have very very little timefor a social life, which is fine too. :)

I haven't smoked in years....

I used to hangout downtown smoking blunts with the hippies, sometimes when the blunt would get real short, I will offer to hold the blunt, then instruct dude to suck hard and then at just the right moment let go and watch the dude suck the hot roach down his throat

everyone cracks up when I do this

so I make some friends and one enemy
