I chat occassionally with a few business people, some of them take electronic payment methods. I continually hear of people sending a payment and in the notes of the transaction they spell out exactly what the funds are for. NOW WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH WOULD ANYONE DO THAT!!!!!!

Why would you volunteer that info like that? Banking institutions keep records for a long time and if you are in the habbit of placing details on transactions you are opening yourself up to scrutiny. USE YOUR HEADS! Hell if for no other reason than tax purposes leave the god damn notes blank. DONT say your buying something, DONT say what your buying, hell, if anything simply say "happy birthday".

Where the hell has common sense gone!!!!

Are you telling me they are saying the money is for x amount of amps and y amount of tabs??? That's insane:confused:

That is EXACTLY what I am saying and to add insult to injury, this happens on approximatly 50% of them :(

You e-mail the source with the order info, they match up the e-mail address they get stating what they want with the e-mail address that sent the funds. E-mails are much easier to keep from prying eyes, recordsa at financial institutions are not and when you add that info you implicate yourself by stating what funds are used for.

Please note, the same thing applies when sending funds and why an e-mail address only should be sent when buying things and when I say things I mean ANYTHING, even legal items like kits etc. They can match up e-mail address in with funds up with the e-mail that was sent saying what was ordered. If the original order e-mail is lost and funds arrive with an e-mail address then the sender can be contacted. Most of these business men I talk to also state that about 30% of the time when they get funds there is no e-mail address enclosed.

Thats a huge problem.
Why cant these guys figure out that they are buying a controled substance and not toys.
I would have to say that it is mostly newer guys.
Cash in the mail is always good.

Maybe these guys think they will have VISA refund the purchase price if they recieve fake gear. :D

I agree. I like to say I'm buying some furry little animal like a chinchilla. No one ever suspects the diabolical chinchilla. ;)
