People are soooo tough when they are hiding behind their computers slinging insults at people.

If they were face to face with someone I often wonder just how tough they would be then.

I usually walk away if a conversation turns heated, and avoid debates over stupid things.

I agree that people say a lot of things they'd never say in person. I guess I'm more likely to get into conflicts in my real life than I am online. I try to avoid internet drama as there's enough in the real world.

I also like Scrappy's plan to just stay under my desk. I do that often and rock back and forth, drool a little, and mumble often.

I know that what some people say are just words typed but people don't realize how their words can hurt others.

So many people have low self-esteem and making others feel like shit is only a temporary fix for what is really bothering them. I think we should all think twice before we sling insults at others to make ourselves feel better.

No-no, I am okay. Thank you though. I have just noticed this about people in all my time online. How shoddy people treat others just because they are online and there is no one there in front of them to knock the bejesus out of them for saying rude and ugly things.

I just think that being online gives people false courage and gives them an opportunity to gang up on others.

Just last night I was on MSN chat because I was bored and there was a woman on there with the personality of a gnat, I looked at her profile and she wasn't all that, she needed her roots done on her bleached hair really bad. She had basically picked up one of the men on there and was now going off on someone else who didn't agree with her whorish ways. So, she resorted to name calling. I could have easily chimed in but I held my tongue, it just bothers me that people lose any dignity, if they ever had any at all when they use the net to make themselves feel better.

Yes, I totally understand what you mean. I can laugh about it now because I know if they ever would to meet me I would go look straight into there eye's to see if they are pussy and completely ruin there ability to lie to me.
