a potential housemaid, now hired arrived on the bus today, now yesterday
strange, been moaning again at the wife over her usage of the vulgar 'got'
the maids name of course is 'gott', sods law, added the extra 't' to salvage face
turned up on the doorstep with a big smile and a small sports bag of clothing and just kind of sauntered in
loatian, 27 and speaks not a word of english although she's fluent in loa, thai and khmer
can't cook, can't read or write, been living on a simple diet and has absolutely no idea about western foods
not much to look at, bit stubby and in urgent need of dental work
she does have an honest energy and a seemingly good character, fngers crossed
turns out she also has two kids, 5 and 2.5 being looked after by grandma somewhere in a border rice paddy shack
attempts to figure out exactly what's going on with the father are failing somewhat
the facts so far, he's cambodian, likes to drink, doesn't like to work
how could anyone say no to that compilation of misery
think she rather likes her new room, should be interesting if nothing else
