PCT: Using Testosterone Precursors

I'm designing the PCT for my next cycle. I expect my "hypothalmic testicular axis" to be suppresed after the cycle, so my PCT will include HCG to regrow the boys, and Clomid to help restore natural testosterone levels.

My question is about testosterone precursors, such as DHEA and Androstenedione. It seems that adding these to the early part of the PCT would help increase my testosterone levels, thus helping to protect hte muscle I put on during the cycle. But, would that testosterone be endogenous ot exogenous? Does the addition of precursors add testosterone to my body in the same way injecting test might, or does it cause my body's natural processes to produce testosterone (i.e. conversion from the precursor)?

What I am trying to determine is if adding test precursors to my PCT would contribute to the delay in my body restoring its natural testosterone production system, would it speed up the process, or would it just have a protective effect on my muscle mass without affecting restoration of natural testosterone production.

Anyone have any ideas or theories?

My main question is would taking DHEA and Androstendione contribute to shutting down the HPTA, help start it up, or have no effect. Anyome know?
