Pay Pal Question.

Hi ya'll out there in Eliteland. I just set up a pay pal account. I gave them my credit card number and other essential info. I did not give them my checking account number to be verified. They said this would give me more benefits if I did, and my account status would be verified. I'm not familiar with pay pal if I could still send money like this. I'm just a little skeptical about giving them my account info.after hearing that some people have lawsuits against them for over drafting their accounts. I know I should probably just contact them, but I know the Elite bros. here have alot of experience with them. My question again(stupid) is can you use paypal with just your credit card info.? Your help is greatly appreciated.

You can only send $1,000.00 then you have to be verified.

you can only send 1000 total. once you've sent that, after no matter how many transactions, you have to verify yourself

OK that clarifies things then. I thought it was a $1,000 limit each time, not a $1000 total in transactions. Thx. for the info. man, I guess I'll eventually be verified in time then. Can any one give me any feedback on how the service has been with them. Any problems with personal free accounts, and just wondering how they make their money from free accounts? Thanks again.

I've never had a problem with paypal....I use it all the time for e-bay purchases and I just recently used it to buy some goodies. They make thier money because They take 3% (i THINK) from the reciever.

I know certain kits maker, who has some cerious issues with PayPal and insists that they commit Internet fraud.

paypal helped me out in a big jam. Some guy on e-bay never sent my goods, or returned my e-mails. Paypal got all of my money back! I would have been out the $ if I sent a check or a money order.

Hey UK Steroids, if Paypal is the gospel and can do no wrong then how come all these people have problems with them....If you actually take the time to go to this link that was posted earlier then you will see that some other people besides A are getting screwed too

I have never used paypal and after reading this I am not going to. I would recommend that if anyone on this board does use it dont make a transaction that you dont mind if you get back. In all probability it will go through but I imagine that is what the people who got scammed thought also.

I dont know how any of this is different than paypal but I have heard that A took his business to http://www.c2it.com/. Hopefully they are better than paypal. Good luck to all you use Pay Pal, I hope the best for everyone that has lost money so far.

I have had great experiences with Paypal (Ebay addict as well).

Smooth transactions, just be sure you enter the right amts. when sending or you are SOL.
