Patrick Arnold... question on 19nor / 1-Test

Pat. I was wondering if 19-nordiol hit the same receptor as 1-test? Are these two compounds basically the same or do they use different mechanics in the body? If they are different, how do they differ. And if they are the same could you explain that as well. Thanks for your help!

The general consensus among scientists in the area is that ALL androgenic / anabolic steroids mediate there effects through just one receptor - the classical androgen receptor.

HOwever there are some mavericks out there that suggest that in addition to the classical androgen receptor there are other mystery receptors, and that some steroids work through these mystery receptors.

I tend to agree with first theory because there is not enough evidence out there to indicate otherwise.

Thanks! So are you saying it would be worthless to stack the two together? Or would there be any benefit to stacking the two compounds? Thanks again.

There is much more to drug activity than the drug/receptor relationship. There is the unique metabolism aspects that are tissue dependent, pharmacokinetics, non-genomic mediated effects, bioavailability etc etc.

So the answer is, I dunno. There is too many unknowns to say for sure that there is not any advantage to such a stack. The only way to know is to try it and see if its better than the 1-test by itself
