I Too Lost Buddies In Vietnam, I Was A Hospital Corpsman With The 1/5 Marines In Chu Lai In 1965-66. I Am Not A Rookie Like Others Who Have Logged On But A Brother Who Has Been There.....again I’m Sorry For Your Loss But 55,000 Wer Lost In Nam, 620,000 Lost In The Civil War But Freedom Costs........

Well no one forced him to go...he signed up to go over because he believes in what we are doing.....IT IS YOUR JOB AS A SOLDIER.....suck it up and deal with it....this is what being in the military means...defending your country...you don't get to pick the battles...wouldn't that be nice and comfy....Be a man and do your job...If he dies my brother dies doing what he wanted to do, fighting for what he believed in...how can I not support him

I agree with you 110%. It's just a shame that a lot of the soldiers feel that the whole thing was started by lies and is a bunch of bullshit after they've been there a while. A very good friend of mine's brother is there and has told him that there is zero morale among a large number of the troops, and that their CO's seem to feel the same way. It's just a shame is all.
 
I can see that it has to be wearing on them and yes we have been over there way to long and we are just gettin in deeper.....shit we are supossed to be fighting......no scream like a girl

I just did and everyone in my office thought that Wayne Newton song was playing. A bat flew into my window just a second ago.
 
i say nuke the whole fucking country ... to many good men and women have died over there .... We have lost more troops in what is supposed to be peace time then in real fighting... Its really sad. I support of troops 200 percent but i think our goverment is run by a bunch of donkeys who cant distinguish there head from their ass

you just simmer down, Missy. ya know, some wars have gone on a lot longer than this one. we all need to be patient and supportive of one another. no one is happy about this. it might take 20 years, but the truth will come out, and everyone will have their justice.
 
This is what pisses me off the most... Our troops are dying over there training their soilders.. There is suppossed to be honor in that.. So when a solider dies.. People can say well he died freeing a country that was ruled by a tyant... But I know this for a fact after we leave that country it will go all to hell and and everything we fought for and died for over there wont mean shit... And then we will ask ourselves what did all those soilders die for.... I feel sorry for our troops.. And our goverment should fucking stand up and do something before more sons and daughters grow up without there mothers and fathers.. I understand war happens and sometimies there is no avoiding it.. But how can you justive how many troops are dying each month ....Bush himself should pick up a weapon and fly over there and stand to post! I pray for our troops and hope they come home soon

yep. 20 years from now - it'll still be a big ol' shithole. Ask the isreali soldiers who died in the 70's, if their deaths brought peace to isreal and palestine.

2,800 american lives willl be pointless. Way to go Bush for misunderstanding the islamic religion!!!
