Past liver damgage from steroids reported wrong! Docs are idiots!

I posted this message about a year ago, but i have since herd so many people continue to say that steroids will kill your liver....this is true only to a degree, and that is only pertaining to people who either had pre-disposed conditions or were on the drugs no less than four years streight. !!
Furthermore, this was printed in a letter from Dr. Mirken here in Maryland. Further reasearch has shown that in the late 70's abd early 80's there was much controversy about steroids and liver elevation. Well apparently the muscles excrete the same type of enzymes that the liver will excrete after strenuous physical exercise. So all the elevated "damage" to the livers of these past patients were elevated from the muscle enzymes and not the liver. That explains why ALL of these people that supposedly had damge livers do not now.
They also determined that rage from steroids is only enduced fro a person per-disposed personality. Thats why so many violent people are out there....O.j. being one. In other words there is no such thing as roid rage. Just "rage" which is something the individual needs to work on. Its not to hard to figure out someone who likes to fight and act out all the time will still act out on roids or not. Using steroids as an excuse for rage is exactly what it is...an excuse. These are all printed long term studies. THE BIGGEST QUESTION: HOW THE HELL DID STEROIDS GET CLASSIFIED IN THE SAME CATAGORY AS COCAINE AND HEROIN?? THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OR STUDIES TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! WEIRD.

Huh? So why is my liver about to explode after my last cycle of Anadrol tabs and creatine? Too much Champion Nutrition Heavyweight Gainer?

I think steroids can ruin your liver by exaserbating existing conditions.

that may be true to a certain extent, studies have also shown that steroidsdo contribute to liver cancer, kidney problems, a number of heart related problems, mpb (not a big deal) when used responsibly, these risks are greatly reduced there are still risks...and we all need to be careful.

I did not say that steroids did not cause liver damage. I said the studies shown are that no one has ever developed liver problems from ANY steroids unless they were perdisposed to liver problems to begin with, or took them for NO LESS THAN 4 YEARS STREIGHT. Again, I agree use not abuse, but did you read the whole thread or just the first two sentances. lol.

I read your whole thread not just the first two sentences, and I was agreeing with you for the most part....I just wanted to point out that liver damage and roid rage (which is definately bullshit) are only two reported side effects...there are more serious problems that are real and can hurt or even worse..kill you....we all have to be careful.
