particles in vial?

Got some test from a friend who bought a 50 ml bottle of test. I bought 10 mls, from the bottle, from him and he put it in an old vial that he had. In the process a few particles got into the oil. My question is how do you get the top off, I tried twisting? And can you run it through coffee filter to get rid of them. My friend is on vacation so I can't contact him, he doesn't have a cell phone. K of course.

Damn, fast reply. It has a metal top, like most. Is there any way I could get it off safely, besides cutting?

only way to get the top off is to pry it off or cut it with snips, and ONLY way to filter this is with a whatman filter, do NOT use a coffee filter and think its gonna be sterile and inject that shit!

this shit is going IN YOUR BODY!!! it doesn't take much of any foreign substance that isn't supposed to be in your blood stream to cause major problem!

and when you do get the top off and if you do filter it what are you going to filter it in? and if you DO use a whatman expect to lose 2 cc's or so of fluid in teh whatman filter

Particles in your bloodstream, just think about it. As noted, do not use a coffee filter, there are many sites that sell sterile chemical filters just for your use.

You can also order sterile vials very cheaply as well, to transfer out of the older vial. Seems tainted though bro, I wouldn't risk it even if filtered. That sucks.
