Fuck yeah. If it is medically possible to better someones tragic life, go for it. It's not like it was gene manipulation, or trying to assume someone's identitiy.

I don't have a problem with the actual procedure if that is the last option.

I have a problem with it being done for experimentation purposes when there clearly was another alternative. An alternative that would not require this woman to take power drugs for the rest of her life. There is a possibility her immune system will reject (as sometimes happens with kidneys) the new section of her face. Furthermore, the woman was not fully aware of what was going on to make a decision.

When a patient arrives for emergency medical attention, that's not the time for experiments (especially, when the patient is drugged up from attempting to commit sucide).
