paper products seperating

Has anyone experienced seperating of the layers of paper when cutting the squares of paperbol/paperstrol. I never had trouble until my most recent batch. Even when cutting them with very sharp scissors, a few of them seperate, dropping crystals/powder all over, rendering them virtually useless. Any advice on preventing this? I dont want to lose any more product on my desk. I cant afford to waste anything. Thanks!

Maybe use a razor blade instead of scissors.
