I guess we can benefit from this Vitamin in other area's too
Just as athletes improve their performance by increasing their stamina, so can you increase your resistance to fatigue and improve your ability to fully participate in sexual/sensual play by increasing your stamina. One way to accomplish this is to take Vitamin B-5, pantothenic acid.
A one gram dose of Vitamin B-5 in capsule form (so it is easily absorbed) will curb fatigue for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. It begins to take effect 20 to 25 minutes after consumption, so you might want to take it when you begin to play or just ahead of time. Later, you can then take another half gram to extend the time during which you will not tire out. From personal experience, I can tell you that my partner and I used to get fatigued after 20 to 30 minutes; now we never get tired nor do we experience burning sensations in tired muscles.
How does Vitamin B-5 accomplish this miracle? It enhances production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the molecule which stores energy for our use. There are two ways to produce ATP. It is produced in the citric acid cycle (the Krebs cycle) which is an aerobic (oxygen required) process. The citric acid cycle produces 38 molecules of ATP per molecule of glucose converted. The second method is glycolysis, in which ATP is produced without oxygen. The second method only produces two molecules of ATP per molecule of glucose converted. Glycolysis is the way that energy is produced when spurts of energy are needed for a short period of time. Glycolysis also produces lactic acid, which causes muscles to burn when fatigued and mental confusion.
It is in the citric acid cycle that Vitamin B-5 makes its impact. Pantothenic acid is an essential component of the molecules and enzymes required by the citric acid cycle. When B-5 is available your body will produce lots of ATP from glucose and thus you wont get fatigued. Your body wont need to produce ATP through glycolysis. As shown above, the citric acid cycle is a far more efficient and productive producer of ATP (energy) than glycolysis.
Pantothenic acid is one of the water-soluble vitamins so it is excreted rapidly from the body. This means you should spread your doses out over the day
