I had this pain in the back of my neck, base of the skull, for about 3 days now. Anyone ever experience anything similiar ?

Seriously, I had what I would call a muscle spasm in the same place the other day. It happened to me about mid morning and it was so powerful that it pulled my head and neck backwards when it happened. It felt like a crick in my neck afterwards but very painful for about two weeks. Damn that hurt like a mother!
