Pain Releivers

I've read somewhere that using Ibuprofen while on cycle can be bad for you as well as hinder your gains. Does anyone know of any good over the counter pain medications which wont hinder gains or be poetentially harmful while on cycle? What about Aleve, which is Naproxin sodium.
