I was at a party Saturday night, and got a very lucrative offer to star in a porn. At first, I laughed, but the thought of doing hot porn has brought out my darker side in the last couple of days.

PROBLEM: the risk of my family or my profession seeing it someday is what's holding me back. But, then I have a Doctor friend who does porn and he's never had any trouble with his profession nor his family.

I have an ex- friend who recently started doing porn and he is a completely different person than he used to be. Unless you really make it big, you end up having to dance in sketchy clubs and doing escort work. If it is something that you really want to do, you should do it, but don't expect to get rich from it. Another friend of mine has been doing it for a long time and is successful, but he dances and escorts too. Both spend a lot of money on partying which I think has to do with dealing with the darker side of doing porn.

I'd do it if I got the offer. You're a lucky man. Maybe you can alter your appearance? You know, grow your hair out, get a goatee, something. And then when its over go back to the way you look. I don't know, its just a thought. People do run their mouths, but how many you know would be willing to even bring up the subject of porn to your family especially your folks. I think they'd be way too embarrassed. No way to bring it up subtly or with tact.

But, on the other hand, haven't you heard of the guy that worked for a major corporation in New York, and they fired him b/c they found out he had done a porn mag....they fired him, he sued.

I think you've misinterpreted what I've said: I could care less what anyone at my firm thinks of my sexuality---that's a whole other issue.

My problem is how professional would it look to be doing porn. I think Ferrus has helped me make up mind mind.....I think doing a porn could greatly contribute to me not getting the career advancements I might want at a later date....

I'm not so sure a firm wants an associate that is shown blowing a load on screen----seems too big of a risk to take.

I'll probably just do another home porn to satisfy my curiousity.......
