Owned myself at Karaoke

So me and my other 2 roommates tried to do something nice for our female roomate (who is one of my roommate's girlfriend). We figured she deserved it considering how much testosterone is in the house and how much sports we watch (and the fact she always cleans up after us)

so we dragged ourselves to a karaoke night at a bar that alot of U of Miami kids frequent since it's one of her favorite things.

Couple of drinks later trying to make the best of it, i tell myself fuck it i'm going to sing (rap really, since i can't sing). All the rap songs sucked, but i found a Biggy song, Nasty Girl featured jagged edge.

So they call my name, and the girl who sang before me (cutie little blonde) starts talking to me and decides to be my backup dancer.
So i have a nice little intro, start singing the first verse(Biggy's)...and then all of a sudden i blanked, forgot all the words and realized i didnt really know the other verses. lolol. The teleprompters suck..and instead of being a stud, singing the song and macking on the girl..the girl got all the applause because i must have stopped like 5 times in between. i was way too embarrassed to even try to spit any game to her. She saved the performance though with her ass shaking, not too bad for a white girl

it stung a little, just because i usually recover well from things or not make too big a deal. i had that girl in the bag until that point though

it takes alot for me to get really embarrassed since i do random/crazy shit often enough

I did something similar in the city a month ago. I threw on CREAM and completely blanked on it.

Didn't help that it was a room full of about 40 nerdy white folks and me and the one black chick I was with.
