outlook question

I'm new to Outlook so I need some help.

I have Outlook 2002. I used to use Outlook Express. In Express, under the View menu, there is a Layout option. From this option you can show which windows you want to display on the left hand side of Outlook. I show the Folder List and the Contact List.

I want to know how I can get the Contact List to be displayed in the same place in Outlook 2002. There is no Layout option under the view menu. Can anybody help? As always, karma for anybody that helps.
