i'd use, my boy used expired winny all the time. there was a thread explaining back last summer that expired gear was ok

I would use it but be aware that it could have degraded somewhat.. Not enough to trash it.

It depends how it was kept... (cool dry place etc...) but ya... generally speaking gear is still good after the expiry for a bit... it's not like they know EXACTLY when it won't work... it won't harm you... just might not be as effective...
