Out of breath all the time: high blood pressure?

I've noticed that for the past 2-3 weeks I have an irregular heart beat and my heart rate is always high. This may sound stupid, but my right ear has been blocked for the past 1-2weeks. I'm only taking an ECY stack (adipo).

How can someone tell if they're blood pressure increases significantly?

There's nothing I hate more than a doctor. When I was 17, I was a big boy at 5'9 183 lbs. I was muscular but the doctor told my mother that I needed to lose some serious weight. I had a 32 inch waist with a 45 inch chest! He told her that I needed to stop eating protein rich foods because I was going to destroy my kidneys and that to lose weight I needed to eat carots.

Bodybuilding became a nightmare, I had to secretely cook eggs when no one was home and hide my whey powder, all because of a stupid doctor. :(

Seriously, I just want to know the signs of increasing blood pressure.

damn dude that sucks

Mr

It's not called the "silent killer" for nothing. Believe me, if your bp is so high that you can actually 'feel' the effects of it, you're on the verge of some real trouble and you'd do yourself well by going to a doctor. There really isn't any visible or noticible signs of mildly or moderately high bp.

Yeah, good advice, I better go check it out. I guess I'll have to put up with the anti-bodybuilding lecture...

For $100 I bought the top of the line home blood pressure monitor. It is very accurate, and you will not need to deal with the lecture unless it is consistently high, then you must see a Dr. There are also steps you can take to lower your BP. There was a good post on it a few weeks back.

Your post makes me think of something else-have you been using triac or t-3?Rapid atrial fibrillation(which is a possible cause of a fast irregular heart rate in a young person)is many times caused by an over-active thyroid(or supplementation thereof),or by too many beta adrenergics(like caffeine and ma huang)
Bear in mind-if you are a bodybuilder with significant biceps, insist they use a large cuff on you instead of the generic b/p cuff,or you will get an artificially high reading.

another option

Most drug stores have those self-administered blood pressure test machines in the back by the pharmacy... They aren't 100% accurate, but if you take your bp 3-5 times and take an average, you will know whether you NEED to go see a doctor.

*shrug*

Hope all is well!

It could be a million things, you sound like you may have a simple ear infection which would cause those symptons,

Hate it or not see a md:alien: :alien: :alien:

Drop the eca, all things which contain caffeine, and add some cardio. Lose some fat and you will feel better. I get the same symptoms when I heavily bulk.

I went from 202lbs to about 188lbs with muscle gain. Everyday, I was eating 18egg whites, a ton of fish, 3 cans of tuna, and whey powder, and about 45g of fat. I was training 9 times a week, and everything was great until the third week of using ec, I went overboard with the dieting and went down to about 183. I dropped the diet, the ec and cardio, and I'm back up to my normal weight.

I dieted for close to 3 months, maybe my body was not use to eating regular food anymore. Just trying to figure out why I feel like shit, I'm just hoping that it's not the ec, that's why I'm trying come up with another reason. I'll check it out though.

Didn't know about the arm thing, I'll keep that in mind.

I have these same symptoms from having sex. Even the ear blockage. Sometimes my gf grabs me by the ears. I say abstain from sex for 6 to 8 weeks to see if your heart rate slows down. Plus, Your test levels will be oozing out of your skin.
