Optimum r-ala dosage time

I recall reading in an earlier thread how r-ala is "working within 10 minutes". Does this mean that food takes 10 mins from ingestion to start breaking down? I don't want to be taking my r-ala straight before my food only to find the first 5-10 mins it isn't doing anything.

there is no set answer.. for a variety of reasons related to digestion and insulin secretion..

but generally right before meal or at beggining of meal is the "best time".. btw- its always doing something.. a couple minute window is not really that important..
