Optimum estrogen level on 0-130 scale?

Can someone tell me what the optimum level of estrogen would be om a 0-130 scale? My lab uses 0-130 and mine came back at 136. Thanks for your help.

Optimum will vary from person to persom but generally speaking I would say you want it below 50.

Thx Zyglamail, my Dr. is gonna put me on Arimidex and HCG this week. I hope they even everything out.

Keep in mind HCG is going to cause test to increase even more which in turn will likely cause in increase in E also.

Thanks all who replied. I just looked at my lab papers again and my E is 134. I've been feeling really crappy and thought that the TRT wasn't working, I think I've found the culprit. Gonna start Adex and hcg shortly. My doc says stop test for 2 weeks and use hcg. Any ideas on this? Thanks

Why is he having you stop test? How much test are you on? How long have you been on? You need to fill in some blanks for us if you want some advice.

One thing I can say is it seems like your doc is not real up on TRT. Its common to use adex with TRT to prevent high E.

I was on 130mgs a week for about 6 months now, I recently lowered my dose to 110 mg cause my test numbers came back at 1124 after seven days. My dr says stop test for two weeks, use hcg, then restart test, also he's gonna put me on adex cuz my e is way too high.

Sorry, I dont see your docs logic here. The HCG will get the testes pumping out test, possibly a lot depending on dose and how you respond but your pituitary and hypothalmus will be a bit out of the game.

You clearly respond well to test, nothing wrong with that and now that your aware of the numbers id say just as some adex and keep checking your T and E levels. Having your T slightly elevated, especially if your older, isnt that big of a deal, It usually take a bit more for us o;d guys to feel better anyway.

Id not really want to go through the hormonal rollercoaster for 2 weeks just to go back on test, I guess I dont see the point and dont think 2 weeks is long enough for your body to recover and for you to get a fresh start on TRT again anyway.

Youve been on for 6 months, no sense trying major changes, just small tweaks and monitor.
