Online Bill Paying Service ????

I was thinking paying my bills via an online bill paying service. I know the Postal Service has one. Does anyone use them? Have any suggestions of a good one? Any problems with using an online paying service?

i already have one. it is super advanced technology. just give me your credit card numbers and i'll pay your bills for you. that way you can avoid the $10 a month overhead.

The postal service run by our government? I would pass on that idea. Those idiots cannot get anything right.

Hmmm! Between Nordstrom and the Postal Service....I guess I better stick the to old fashioned way.

Why don't you pay your bills via online banking. Talk to your bank and get an account set up. A lot cheaper than these independent companies.

Good idea Guards but I have a local small bank which I really like, that does not offer that. It is nice not to be just a number. I am sure at some point they will get bought out but until then I am staying. Maybe it is just a bad idea to pay via online. I was just making out all these checks tonight and the thought occured to me how nice it would be to do this online.

I pay everything online. It's SO much easier than cheques, and you can keep a better record of all your payments. Why no open one account at a larger bank for bill payments and keep your other accounts at your smaller bank????

actually if you walk into any post office, you are likely to see a poster that explains that the USPO is actually a private entity.
The are for profit and are not gov't.

as for online bill pay, they are doing it, and many banks are doing it as well.
I love it!

I pay online thru my bank and it is so much better. Especially for
bills you don't want to wait for it to get to the mailbox. If my
computer would break down now I would have on order first thing
in the morning to make sure I continue to pay online.

I have used paymybills.com for the past year, it is absolutely fantastic!
No more sorting though mail, no stamps, etc, etc, etc...
Currently it's $8.95/mos and worth it for my business.
