ONE Night in NYC...help!

taking my girl on a one day trip to NYC just before new years. hitting up a broadway show then taking a look at the tree....

now....what bars do i take her to afterward? not looking to dance, just chil and have a nice drink.

heard about fez, joes pub, temple bar.....let me know what you all think?

Merchants maybe? It's a lounge/bar, like most places in the city. You can relax downstairs with a private section with a couch/table and fireplace. Would be a nice place to chill after a show and a visit to the tree.
