Funny you posted this because I was thinking the exact sane thing yesterday and was going to post but decided not to. But since you did... I think its garbage too! I saw at least 5 post yesterday way more off topic than his original gym post. Yet they remained on the board.

I hear you. I see many posts on here about a member's level of progress or satisfaction with his gains, which is fine. I made ONE POST about my satisfaction in hitting my current weight for the first time ever - 230 pounds. The post was not moved, it was deleted.

I know it is impossible to keep everybody happy, but I feel the mods could do a better job of coordinating their standards.

if your post was deleted.. it was probably an accident.. the scroll on choices is not exactly perfect.. it is not hard to move "incorrectly" .. into the recycle bin..

I believe it. However, I'd not be suprised is a certain mod did delete it. No biggie, I'm still 230!

Dont know if your referring to me or not, but I didnt touch it.

Also keep in mind that we cant see every post in every thread so often times things slip by. Usually when I get on I take a quick look at titles and look for ones that obviously dont belong like source posts and kill them first. I would like to also be able to offer advice and such when I can but it would seem many of you would rather have me spend my time reading every post and playing post nazi instead of helping out. Guess we mods just cant win. One minute someone complains that we arent here and helping answer questions, then the next we have someone else (or often times the same people) complaining were deleting moving OR NOT deleting/moving posts. Damn, you guys would think we are making 6 figures for doing this.

On a side note, I only delete threads containing source posts. If the thread has info in it and a source post is made in the thread I generally just edit the offending post. The exception to the is when you guys start quoting the offending post, thereby making my job 10 times harder since I not only would have to edit the offending post but all the followups as well. When that happens the thread is usually deleted.
