most likely not. First baby is due in June and dad has health issues, but he's hanging in there. I never knew my grandparents either. By the time I came around they were already gone. I never knew what I missed I guess. My life seemed pretty normal to me.

i got lucky and knew my mom's grandparents...so my great-grandparents.
knew them pretty well too, they both died when i was about 16.
that's what happens when you marry and have kids young...i fucked that up by still being single and childless at 30
