how long does a bottle stay good? i was cleaning out my pantry and found a big bottle of them 300 soft gels and it's a little more than half way full. I didn't know i had them at all but the bottle says "freshness & potency guaranteed through jan 2005" should i just go ahead and trash them?

I'm sure they'd be fine but just to be safe why not go buy a new bottle... might save you some diarrhea... lol
