Glad I found this forum. I am a 56 yo male in good health but over the years let my BMI slip up to near 30%...not hard to do if you figure 3~5 pounds per year ove a 15~20 year period...it ads up.

In Jan of this year I decided to make a change in my life and get back into shape. I read several articles about male andropause and Testosterone levels that fall after age 40. Every article I read had me as the "poster child for andropause so I found a good "wellness MD".

He ran all of the blood and saliva tests on me and found that my T levels werew a bit on the low side along with cortisol. My LDL levels were ok but not ideal so I also consulted a Cardiologist...had more bloodwork, a stress test, etc. My Cardiologist gave me a clean report so I went back to my wellness MD with all of the results. He put me on a high protein/ low fat diet for about 6 weeks along with a bunch of Nutriceuticals...ran more tests and started weekly injections of Testosterone Cypionate/100 mg.

Within about a week after the first injection I was starting to feel like a "man" again and started enjoying things like "morning wood" and increased libido. After about 6 weeks of this he checked my levels and cut me to bi-weekly injections of the same amount. It was about that time I started going to the gym 3 days a week and noticed my strength and ability to perform all of my routine with more ease and increased stamina.
i have lost about 25 pounds total...my BMI is now about 26 and I have lost about 4" off my waste. I have sharper mental acuity and I don't get tired very easily. I look forward to going to the gym and working out.

I am watching my diet closely and am using good supplements along with Whey Protien Shakes to help recovery. I am starting to "cut up" some and am beginning to get my shape back that I had in my 20s.

I don't think I am using enough T to even call it a "cycle" but was wondering if it would be ok to bump my levels up a bit. I don't want to go "nuts' with this but would enjoy as a hobby getting back to where I was when I was 25~30. I have read about the different anabolics and would like to stay with "Cyp" if possible...I'm looking for a source of Testosterone Cypionate injectable that I could purchase regularly without having to wait several weeks for it. I have been on the once every 2 week deal for about 14 weeks now and my Dr. is very conservative about increasing levels. I am paying $50 for my 100 mg injections so it runs me $100/mo.

I am glad I found you guys and am open to all advice and comments.

Thats great glad ur feeling better n back on track....its my opinion if u been out of shape this long just to stick with what the doctor ordered for maybe a year an if ur progress really slows or stops after that rethink it out....Not allowed to post or ask about sources on ef... Another great site to look at for info is thesourcecheck.com

Once you have worked out for atleast 6-months that is the earliest you should think about adding anything to your protocal, the reality is 2 years. Your diet will give you more lean gains than juice right now. Diet theory has changed a lot since the 90's and so has the product availibility do much reading in the diet section of this site.
BTW with my dr. I just order between 3-6 months worth and I self inject. So if I want to up my dosage its not a problem.
Glad to have you here and good luck in your new life!

We don't talk about sources and price. Read the stickies.

If you have a Dr writing scripts and he/she will play a bit with the dosages, you have the challange of picking health and HRT or having some fun and doing cycles. In my mind, any testo dosage over 100 mg a week is a cycle. 100 mg and under is HRT.

So .... what's is gunna be,kid? I like to rotate. HRT is my base and my blood testing panels every 3-4 months say I can be at best place in traditional panel ranges with as little as 75 mg and a strict low sugar/starch diet.

But I also like getting crazy and get up to 240 for the shear fun of it. This takes a min of 250-500 mg of testo every 7-10 days over 8-10 weeks. Over the last years I've looked for the perfect stack or that one perfect roid. I'm doing pure sust now and it is not perfect. Close .......

Watch the sides, esp blood pressure and cholesterol whether HRT or a fun cycle. Too high a price.
