Uh, hello? Can't this be done by LOCAL TRAINED SKILLED CONSTRUCTION WORKERS AND CONTRACTORS????
You know, like how all the rest of the infrastructure has been built. Think border patrol agents built their own stations and jails?
What is the purpose of flying in infantry, doctors, accountants, 18 y/os, teachers, etc. etc. down there to do this?
Are they even trained for these construction projects? Isn't that lousy and inefficient usage of troops?
This looks more and more of what it really is - some dog and pony show to make Pres. Bush look good.
