I know i need to see a doc but im just worried. I have been dealing with i thought panic attacks but someone told me that it sounds like diabetes. I get the chills stomach gets really upset, My head spins bad and i get really irritaded. I have them on a regular basis, like everyday. Im currently taking xanax and i havent had one latley i say 3 days. I had my pancreas checked about a month ago and the doc told me it was ok. I fasted for 14 hours and my sugar levels were 87. Should i go back and see the doc or am i just trippin. I have used insulin in the past but its been like 2 years.

The symptoms you describe certainly sound like low blood sugar. I'm not understanding your sentence about Xanax, but you should keep your dosing schedule consistent (if you're not).

i take the xanax because my doc told me i was having panic attacks. I also get tunnel vision when i have these attacks, also have constant fear of having another one. If my blood sugar was dropping wouldnt i pass out, If its getting low its getting real low.

Its weird you mentioned that. I have the same things happen to myself. Sometimes it feels like your completly spaced out and when you look at one thing everything else goes blurry around it. I've used insulin in the past too.

Fasting blood sugar of 87 is perfect...maybe you should have a blood test done after eating a very high carb/sugar meal to see if you might be Hypoglycemic. Do you get those panic attack feelings after eating lots of sugar?

How long have you been on the Xanax? If you try to just stop after a few weeks, there can be some withdrawl. When you feel
alright and decide to stop the drug, after a few days while the drug clears the system, there can be a rebound of the anxiety and the symptoms. Believe me I know. It'll take a least a week of no Xanax before you would know if its the drug, or something else. BTW any other depressant to treat the symptoms after going off the Xanax such as alcohol, ghb, barbituate... will only prolong the clearing of the system.

If you were about to get diabetics, you would most likely be very, very thirsty. Dunno what these might be? You better go to a doctor if this is an everyday problem for you !!!!
