well, my thoughts on hitting women aren't quite "black and white" At the risk of becoming very unpopular quickly, allow me to elaborate.....
Let me start by saying, I do not believe that ANY MAN EVER has a reason to raise his hand to his significant other i.e. Wife, girlfriend, etc.....
HOWEVER, if I am out with friends or with my girl and some other girl hits my girl for no apparent reason, she's getting laid out... Example: My ex-wife and I were in a country night club one night (she loved that line dancing shit)
and some girl that did not like her in high school because of some kind of boyfriend nonsense, walked over to my SHOWING, pregnant, wife and smacked her. Needless to say, I saw red, and broke her jaw....
Also, ladies, (not all of you, I know), if you're in a club, and you become involved in a verbal altercation with a male bouncer (me) because you're drunk.... please, PLEASE, don't scratch, punch, slap, or kick me when I ask you to leave because you're drunk. If you want to act like a man, I'll treat you like a man.
I'm NOT condoning violence towards women here, don't get me wrong, and as stated earlier in my rant, I would NEVER raise my hand to my ole lady EVEN IF SHE HIT ME.... But ladies, please, smarten up.... don't automatically assume that some guy you don't know is automatically not gonna give you a well-deserved smack just because you're a woman, and "guys shouldn't hit girls" That statement may have worked on the playground at recess, but we're grown now, so use common sense and act "like a lady"................

I agree with you on those points. I had no idea what the thread was about that mysterio was referring to but I was talking about hitting your girlfriend, wife, etc when I said it was bullshit if a guy does that.

Bro, if your ole lady left you for a guy that smacks her around, guess what??? that's KARMA!!! If she doesn't leave him, it's her own fault and she's a fool. You can take solace in the fact that you were good to her, and you treated her w/respect, and if that's the case, then it's HER FAULT if she keeps getting knocked around... In the old days, it was much less acceptable for women to leave abusive relationships, because of how society viewed divorce... Nowadays, ladies, if he hits you once, shame on him, if you give him the oppurtunity to hit you twice by allowing him to stay in your life... SHAME ON YOU!!!
As I stated before, there's never any reason for a man to hit his woman, EVER!!! But, nowadays, if the woman stays because "he said he was sorry" or "he's really stressed out" then you're the dummy....
