ok computer geniuses... i need help

My browser is taking me to different url's than it should.. i was thinking i got a redirecter from a web page installed when someone was using my computer however it takes me to EF a lot too instead of say anabolic review... this has me puzzled anyone know why my browser is taking me to the wrong pages?

Maybe someone edited your Bookmarks ?
They can be changed with a different URL and you can't tell from the main menu.

this is driving me insane... well more insane i guess...i know you can use javascript to do things like this but how the hell do you find the prob and fix it... too damn many variables.
