oh dammit, someone help -- battlefield 1942 server

for some reason i start a INTERNET server in BF1942, but for some reason no one can find it/ i even gave nordstrom my IP to connect to, and that shit still don't work, even though i'm playing in the server with bots (it's a co-op match i set up)

is there a reason why my server can't be found, even if i'm clearly playing in it? nord and I both have the same versions of the game, along with same version of desert Combat too. wtf is going on?

good jesus i absolutely hate things that don't work properly.


do i have to click "dedicated server" for him to join, or what???? help

my wifes littel bro has the opposite problem- he could not find any servers - I think he has a firewall problem, but haven't had a chance to go fix it yet - go to the games answer ask site and ask around- someone there probably had the same problem before too...
