You can even pre-order it on Amazon right now. As of now, it looks like the format will be limited to USA and Canada. (Encoding: Region 1)

Its selling for $18.74 if you pre-order.

A while back I heard about plans for a re-touched version of Pumping Iron where things such as the goofy music were going to be updated. Anybody know of such a version?

Ya and there is a spot on amazon where you put your email in, they will notify you when its released and also let the studio now how many people are inquireing(?) about it so they can release it quicker.
